My exchange in Ireland

  In Scoil Pól, my Irish school, the students are allowed to use their own laptops or the IPads the school give to the student, but the must keep their phones in their lockers and they have to comply with the netiquette and all the rules written in it. All the rules of the school are equipped with AppleTVs and all the teachers at the school have a MacBook which can connect to the AppleTV and show whatever they want from the MacBook in the projector where the AppleTV is connected to. In all the Irish houses are modern technology, including TVs, phones, consoles and all the technology you can have in house.

  Wednesday, 28/9/2022. On Wednesday I got up at 6:00 because it was my last day in Ireland, all my host family got up at the same hour as me to say me goodbye. My host-mother, Saoirse and I left home at 7:00 and when we arrived at school I kept my baggage at the bus and then I said goodbye and thanks for everything and at 7:30 the Spanish and Irish exchange students left school by bus. Then we arrived at the airport, we said goodbye to the Irish students and after that before take the flight we had lunch. Then we took the. Flight and we arrived atSpain at 16:30 and we took a photo with the flight assistant who is same one who where in the flight to Ireland two weeks before. In Bilbao we took the bus to the bus station and Alejandro, Carolina, Saúl, Candela and I went to a restaurant and ate some food waiting for the bus. We took the bus at 20:00 and we arrived at Logroño and I saw my mother again at 21:45. Here are some photos:

 Tuesday, 27/9/2022. On Tuesday I got up as a normal day, but this wasn’t a normal day because it was my last a day at school in Ireland. I took the bus at 8:00 as usual. In school I had a normal day and at Wood Technology class I ended making a wood ship and to end the day the exchange students had a meet about internet security and cyber bullying. Then I said bye to the Irish teachers and students of the school and I returned talking at the bus with Alejandro then I said bye to him. When we arrived at home, we had lunch and then I stayed all the playing with Saoirse and Isobel and with the family. At night, my host-mother, Isobel, Saoirse and I played cards and they show an Irish cards game very similar to an Spanish one. After that, just before going to the bed I played chess with Saoirse two games and we tied, we will end when she comes to Spain, then we went to the bed. Here are some photos:

  Monday, 26/9/2022. On Monday, I got up as a normal day at 7:00, I had breakfast and I took the bus to school. At school I had a normal day and after school I took the bus to the house and while we were travelling I talked all the trip with Alejandro, and exchange student from Madrid who was going to stay at Ireland until Christmas. When we arrived at home, we had dinner and then I had a normal afternoon with the family. I played football with Isobel and some neighbours, then Isobel and Saoirse helped with my homework and Isobel showed me her Irish homework. To end the day we play Cluedo all together. After that we watched TV and before going to the bed, Saoirse showed me how the college and university works in Ireland, then we went to the bed.  Sunday, 25/9/2022. On Sunday I got up later as usual because I was very tired from Saturday. For have breakfast I had to wait because my host mother had prepared a typical Irish breakfast made of beans, eggs, sausage and pork. After have breakfast all my host family and I went to Saoirse’s match where she lost, but her team should have won because the referee did not do his job well. After the match we went to a restaurant where I ate a chicken wrap which was delicious. Then, the family took us to Kilmallock for the movie night where we all the exchange students, including me, visited the village and before enter to the place to see Batman, the movie, we went to a supermarket in the village to buy some food and after the three hours movie we had dinner at a Chinese restaurant in Kilmallock too. After had dinner my host-father come for us and we returned home and we went to bed because on Monday we had class. Here are some photos:

 Saturday, 24/9/2022 On Saturday I did a lot of different things. To start the day, I got up at 9:30  and I had breakfast, then I made my bed and I talked with the family. After that I had lunch and some time after had lunch my host-mother, Saoirse, Isobel and I left home to go to Limerick. In limerick we went to play bowling, we played two games, Saoirse won the first and I won the second one, we started a third one, but the time ended up when I was winning. After the game we stayed playing pool in the same place, a played a few games versus Saoirse and I lost, while we were playing pool my host-mother got a stuffed animal and she gave it to me as a present from Ireland. After the pool we went to my host-mother favourite’s store in Limerick. Allen’s. There, I bought a present for my mother, a necklace made of Irish jewellery. After going to the store we went to a restaurant with, for my host-mother, the best pizzas of all Limerick. After eat the pizza we went to the oldest so...
